Thank you for your interest in Ellington Ridge Country Club. This section of our website is intended to provide some of the information you need to formulate a decision about membership in ERCC.

History
ERCC was founded in 1959 and was recently cited by Connecticut Magazine as among the ten best country clubs in Connecticut. Since its inception, more major state and regional golf championships have been held at ERCC than any other golf course in the state.

Location
ERCC is located 16 miles northeast of Hartford in the town of Ellington just minutes from Interstate Route 84. It is situated in a beautiful pastoral setting where, from the clubhouse patio, one has a gorgeous view of virtually the entire Connecticut Tobacco Valley.
Golf Course
(See the scorecard and photos of each hole)Our 18 hole championship golf course was designed by the noted golf architect, Geoffrey Cornish, and has undergone numerous major improvements in the last 50 years. The course measures 6936 yards from the professional tees and in addition to the professional tee box, each hole has a tee box for the regular amateur golfer, a tee box for our older members and a tee box for the ladies. The course has been consistently rated in the top 5 in Connecticut and three of our golf holes were selected by the Connecticut PGA as among the 36 best in the state. Our practice areas include a top rated driving range, 2 practice putting greens and a new sand shot and chipping practice area.
Pool Facilities
Our Olympic sized swimming pool is state-of-the art and is seasonally staffed by swimming instructors and life guards. The facility includes a wading pool for toddlers, a snack bar and locker rooms. Special swim programs for children of members are provided.
Tennis Facilities
The club maintains 3 Har-Tru tennis courts. Our staff includes a tennis professional who operates a comprehensive tennis program available to both adult and children members.

Our spacious and attractive dining facilities provides for gracious dining in the Terrace Room. A lounge and grill room is available for lunch or more casual meals. Our executive chef, Audrey, is accalimed by the membership for the variety and quality of meals produced by her kitchen.
Membership
The members of ERCC are extremely friendly and come from a wide variety of backgrounds and occupations. ERCC is, in many ways is a family club, but at the same time we offer a wide selection of membership categories to accommodate virtually every personal circumstance. We limit our golf memberships to 315 to insure minimum congestion on the golf course.
