Dear fellow golfers: We reviewed all handicaps posted in the flights August 2nd and 3rd and here are the results: Total players: 79 · 20 players posted their score incorrectly, without proper adjustments, these scores have been corrected. · 14 players did not post as tournament scores, these have been corrected. · 5 players did not post, we have posted these scores. Effectively 50% of the scores were either not posted or posted incorrectly. We did not assess any penalties this time, just corrected the scores. If you noticed that your score has been adjusted, this is the reason. Please post your scores. It is the right thing to do for your fellow players, the club and most importantly yourself. If you have any questions on how to correctly post scores, check with the Golf Shop staff. If you post a score incorrectly, let the Golf Shop know so that they can correct it. The USGA prefers that all scores be posted immediately after the round has been played, on the course computer. The USGA states that all scores must be posted before the next handicap revision. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Regards, Paul Zito |
