| Geoffrey
Cornish names his "Dream 18": In the Premiere
(June 2001) issue of the New England Journal of Golf, the
designer of our course was asked to pick the favorite holes
he has designed. On our course, he picked the first
hole, saying "On this 378-yard, dogleg right par-4, you
play from an elevated tee to a valley, getting you away from
the clubhouse quickly. The fairway slopes from right
to left, with trees on the left and a fairway bunker on the
right. There are also bunkers guarding both sides of
the front of the green, which slopes from back to front."
